Medical Records Administrative Assistant
Are you organized, dependable, and enjoy working on the phone? We're looking for a detail-oriented Medical Records Administrative Assistant to join a fast-paced, professional office environment. What You'll Do
- Manage a high volume of phone calls (70-80+ per day), along with email and fax communication
- Contact healthcare facilities to request and retrieve medical records
- Fax medical authorizations and follow up on outstanding requests
- Accurately document all outreach and correspondence in a database
- Perform data entry related to medical record requests (more as you become fully trained)
- Handle sensitive and confidential client information with care and professionalism
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of office, administrative, or customer service experience
- Strong communication skills and comfort working on the phone throughout the day
- High level of reliability, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
- Self-directed work style with a commitment to confidentiality
- Experience with electronic medical records is a plus, but not required

- Pay: $18-19 per hour
- Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (paid lunch)
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Full 40-hour work week with early Fridays
- Location: 100% in-office role in Bloomington, MN
- Stable schedule and clear expectations in a professional office setting
